LCCC to offer 'Great Chefs' program

"Great Chefs and Restaurants of the Valley" allows participants to enjoy cooking instruction, recipe sharing, and sampling of preparations of chefs from among the area's finest restaurants. The noncredit program is sponsored by Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC).

Food samples are at the discretion of the individual chefs. Sessions are available in the morning, afternoon, and evening, depending on the restaurant. The restaurants participating in this year's program are:Course #COO 400-50, Blue Grillhouse and Winebar, Wednesday, April 14 from 10 a.m. - 12 noonCourse #COO 400-51, Sagra Bistro, Wednesday, April 14 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.Course #COO 400-52, The Savory Grille at The Seizholtzville Hotel, Thursday, April 15 from 10 a.m. - 12 noonCourse #COO 400-53, Cab Frye's Tavern and Catering, Monday, April 19 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.Course #COO 400-54, Glasbern Inn, Monday, April 26 from 2-4 p.m.Course #COO 400-55, Made in Brazil, Monday, April 26 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.Course #COO 400-56, Starfish Brasserie, Thursday, April 29 from 10 a.m. - 12 noonCourse #COO 400-57, Ocean, Saturday, May 17 from 1-3 p.m.Enrollment is limited for each restaurant and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.No class transfers or refunds will be processed during the time period of one week prior to each Great Chef's presentation and registrations will not be accepted the day of class.
