Ecumenical service

The Jim Thorpe Ministerium will host a Lenten service on Tuesday, March 23, at the Immaculate Conception Church, West Broadway, at 7 p.m.Samuel R. Zeiser, Lutheran Church Bishop and native of Jim Thorpe, will deliver the sermon. Bishop Zeiser was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Heights, and is the son of Mrs. Mildred Zeiser of town.The service is open to all denominations of the community.Easter dinnerSt. Mark's/St. John's Episcopal Church will host the monthly free community supper on Sunday, March 28, at the church, from 4-6 p.m.The menu this month will be Easter dinner. All are welcome.
