Third St., Lehighton, filed a complaint against Sal Baldostano, 1215 North St., Jim Thorpe.The suit states on May 21, 2008, the plaintiff was going to work at the Pennsylvania Wine and Spirits Shop, at 1215 North St., Jim Thorpe, when she was caused to slip and fall. Negligence is alleged against the defendant, who is the owner of the building and property. Sought are damages for injuries sustained and detailed in the suit. Sought is damages in excess of $50,000.John Motola, 194 E. Second St., Lehighton, filed an action against Kelly S. Fisher, 263 Pinoak Drive, Lehighton.The suit states on Sept. 30, 2008, the plaintiff was walking down steps at 118 E. Second St., Lehighton, when he was caused to slip and fall and sustained injuries detailed in the suit. The defendant is the owner of the property, the suit states. Negligence is alleged and sought are damages in excess of $50,000.Contract defaultVNB Loan Services Inc., 747 Chestnut Ridge Rd., Chestnut Ridge, N.Y., filed a complaint against Melissa N. Treddwell, 67 North St., Slatington, alleging she defaulted on a retail installment sales contract for the purchase of a vehicle. Sought is $21,162.91 plus costs and fees.
