A Lehighton woman was cited and jailed for an incident in Monroe County.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said on Monday, March 15, about 6:32 p.m. officers responded to the Walmart store in Mt. Pocono for a report of a fight in progress. Upon arrival officers observed a blue colored sedan at the entrance to the store being driven into another sedan and almost striking a male and female on the roadway.Police said the striking vehicle continued to push the other vehicle across SR940 where it struck a parked car on Oak St. The pushing vehicle was stopped and the driver identified as Morgan Rehrig, 23.Rehrig was taken into custody and charged with aggravated and simple assault and criminal mischief. She was placed in the county prison in Snydersville pending arraignment.The male and female involved were identified as Brian Brown, 27, and Jennifer Carrelli, 29, both of Pocono Summit. Police said both declined medical attention.
