"Whereas recognition of the inherent dignity and of the equal and inalienable rights of all members of the human family is the foundation of freedom, justice and peace in the world," is from the Preamble to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights which was printed on the Pleasant Valley School District's Night of Unity program. To support that idea, all those who attended Pleasant Valley School District's Night of Unity were asked to bring food items to donate to Pleasant Valley Ecumenical Network. Jesse Broome, 10 of PVI and his little brother, Aden Broome, 5 of Eldred Elementary, added their donations to the growing pile to help needy families within the community.
