A snow-covered and slippery Monroe County road was the scene of a crash about 10:45 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 25.

State police at Fern Ridge said Thomas Boyko, 41, of Lehighton, was driving a dump truck with plow and had stopped along SR3018 at Sugar Hollow Road to lift the plow to go over a bridge while Eric R. Grimm, 25, of Tannersville, was traveling down 3018. He applied his brakes but his Ford F150 pickup truck slid on the road and hit the rear of the truck. No one was injured and damages were minor to both vehicles.
