Community Lent Services

Northern Lehigh Community Lent Services will be held each Wednesday night at 7 p.m.The Slatington area churches will join together for mid-week services. Worship will be followed by fellowship with refreshments.The 2010 biblical theme is "The Words of Jesus Spoken from His Cross."The schedule of Lenten services is as follows: Feb. 24, Friedens Church/Rev. LeVan; March 3, St. John's Lutheran/Rev. Mohr; March 10, United Presbyterian/Rev. Haab; March 17, St. John's UCC/Rev. Zimmerman; March 24, Slatington Baptist/Rev. Diefenderfer.St. John's Lenten ServicesSt. John's United Church of Christ, 15 South Second St., Slatington, will hold a community mid-week Lenten service on Feb. 24.
