The 52nd annual Lincoln Day Dinner sponsored by the Schuylkill County Republican Committree will be held Thursday, Feb. 25, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at Pine View Acres Restaurant, Pottsville.

Bob Ames, chairman of the county party, announced Mrs. Susan Corbett, wife of the State Attorney General Tom Corbett, will be the speaker. Her husband was recently endorsed by the Republican State Committee for Governor in his bid to win the party's nomination in the May 18 Primary Election.Mrs. Corbett is a Schuylkill County native and her family still resides in Pine Grove area. State Representative Jerry Knowles, of the 124th Legislative District, will be the toastmaster and GOP vice chairman, Mary Labert, is the general chair for the banquet.
