Marianne Kovatch, Nesquehoning, was crowned queen during the annual Heart Fund dance in Nesquehoning. More than 300 persons attended the function. The queen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Kovatch Jr., was crowned by Dr. Serge Grynkewich of Lehighton, honorary chairman of the association. A bouquet of roses was presented to her by Mayor John Nalesnik. Runnerup was Jacqueline Sweeney, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Sweeney, Nesquehoning.
