Touchdown Club meets

The Jim Thorpe Touchdown Club will meet on Tuesday, Feb. 16, at 6 p.m. in the commons area of the high school. Plans for the 2010 football season will be made. The parents, relatives and friends of the football program are invited to attend the meetings and help with any upcoming programs the club may have.Ash WednesdayService slatedSt. John's Lutheran Church, South Ave., will begin it's Lenten season, with a Holy Communion service on Ash Wednesday, Feb. 17, at 7 p.m. Along with communion there will be imposition of ashes. During the Lenten season, there will be suppers, discussions and services, held every Wednesday, beginning at 6 p.m. in the fellowship hall of the church.
