State police at Lehighton reported investigating a one vehicle crash about 11 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 7, along Meixsell Valley Road, in the area of Weir Lake Road, in Ross Township, Monroe County.

Troopers said Lynette M. Labarre, 42, of Saylorsburg, was driving a 2005 Subaru Baja when she lost control after her paassenger side tires left the road and started to skid on loose gravel.Labarre attempted to regain control but the Baja slid sideways across the road and later struck a garage located along the north side with the left front fender.Labarre was not injured with damages moderate to the vehicle.
