Mr. and Mrs. Robert R. Hayman of Lehighton are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.

They were married on July 18, 1964, by the Rev. Francis Walter at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Allentown.Mrs. Hayman is the former Helen Cecelia Grimes, daughter of the late Blanche and Francis Grimes of Coalport.Her husband is the son of Mary Hayman of Wilkes-Barre and the late Ralph Hayman.Robert's brother Ronald Hayman served as best man at their wedding.Helen's sister, Joyce Baker, was matron of honor.The Haymans have a son, Mark, and his wife, Karen, of Lehighton; and a daughter, Heather, and her husband, Dan Putkowski, of Philadelphia.They have one grandchild, Callie Jade Hayman.The couple is planning to celebrate with an anniversary trip to the New England states in the fall.
