The following recalls were issued Nov. 7 - 11 by federal and state agencies:
Rocking Horse Toys: Rocking Horse Depot is recalling Rocking Horse Toys sold November 2006 - December 2009. The reins on the rocking horse bridle are long enough to form a loop around a child's head and neck, posing a strangulation hazard. Consumers should immediately remove or cut the reins to eliminate the hazard. Consumers can also contact Rocking Horse Depot, www.rockinghorsedepot.com, 623-302-6313.
Roman Shades: Hanover Direct Inc., also known as Domestications, The Company Store, and Company Kids, is recalling Roman shades, roll-up blinds and roller blinds sold January 1996 - October 2009. Strangulations can occur when a child places his-her neck between the exposed fabric on the backside of the blind or when a child pulls the cord out and wraps it around his-her neck. Consumers should contact the Window Covering Safety Council, 800-506-4636, www.windowcoverings.org, for free repair kits.
Inline Skates: Rollerblade USA is recalling Spark, Spitfire Inline Skates sold September 2009 - July 2010. The frame mounting bolts and wheel axle bolts can be loose on new skates. Loose wheels or frames on the skates can cause the rider to fall, posing a risk of injury. Consumers should immediately inspect all wheel-axle and frame-mounting bolts to ensure that they are properly tightened.
