Civil War reenactors gave a presentation recently to Tamaqua area sixth graders at the Tamaqua Auditorium.

Some of the volunteer Civil War reenactors from the 104th PA Reg. were Allison Lareau, Alice Taylor, Jennifer Lareau, Donald Taylor, 81st PA's Ted Dombroski, Battery C Light Artillery's Tom Schultz, Deanna Newman, and Bob Silverman.

They discussed military life, food, uniforms, hygiene, and weapons. Reenactors routinely volunteer their time by traveling from schools and other educational centers providing entertaining presentations and displays for youth and adults.
