After reading Friday's TIMES NEWS article on the fight for the remains of the 20th Century greatest athlete "Jim Thorpe," I realized it is a sad story of greed and money.Most people would like this issue to be resolved.Losing the namesake of a national hero, Jim Thorpe reminds me of the old testament of Solomon, which half do you give who?Remove Jim Thorpe from his mausoleum, cremate him, divide the ashes, return half to the Native Americans, allowing his spiritual soul to rest; while the rest of the man's remains be placed in this official burial site of "CHUNK."Any PR team could make a great event of ending this situation. We cannot change the past. We can make choices to end this big ugly disaster, with compassion, compromise, and common sense.R.A. HagertySummit Hill
