97 freshmen enter Marian High School

Ninety-seven ninth grade students were welcomed their first day to Marian High School on Monday, August 30th.

A full day of activities was planned for the students by the Marian High School Student Council members. The Student Council advisor is Mrs. Deborah Coles.

The day began with registration and the Student Council reviewed the Mission Statement and Beliefs. Games were conducted for the students to acquaint themselves with other fellow students and the school. Administration addressed the freshman with rules, dress code, conduct code, etc. followed by a pep rally. The freshmen were then guests at a picnic on campus grounds, where the Faculty and Staff served everyone. The students then followed a short schedule.

Student Council Officers for the 2010-2011 school year are: Kathleen Cataldo, President; Katie Collevechio, Vice-President; Victoria Vadyak, secretary and Alexa Nemeth, Treasurer.
