Silver Creek Fire Tower dog hike

Tuscarora State Park naturalist Robin Tracey invites area residents to join him Thursday, Aug. 12 from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. for a dog hike at Locust Lake State Park.

The hike is 4 miles in length and moderate in difficulty. The pine stands and brush are the perfect habitat for birds and other wildlife.

The group will meet at the visitor parking lot at Locust Lake, located before the contact station. From there, they will hike up to the top of the mountain.
