Lehighton state police are investigating a theft that took place at a residence in Polk Township on Dec. 27.

According to police unknown actor(s) entered Russell C. Baker's residence at 563 Molasses Valley Road, sometime between 4 and 4:15 a.m., and removed a black Mercury 40-horsepower outboard motor from a boat.Anyone with information is asked to contact police at (610) 377-4270.
