Driver seriously hurt in Rush Township

One person was seriously injured Monday morning when involved in a rear end collision along Route 309 in Rush Township. Rush Township police report a car was parked along the right berm of Rt. 309 by several men who were hunting in the nearby woods. A car operated south bound by a young male driver drove off the roadway into the rear of the parked car. The driver of the car, Nathaniel Hafer, 23, of Hometown was flown from the scene to a Lehigh Valley Trauma center. The crash occurred at 9:30 a.m.
