Carle A. Reber, 31, of Schuylkill Haven, was arrested by state police at the Schuylkill Haven barracks after she was caught shoplifting at 12:45 p.m. Thursday at the Boscov's department store in Norweigan Township, Schuylkill County.

Troopers said she was inside the store with her 4-year-old child when she was caught removing items from store racks and concealing them. Police said the retail value of the items she attempted to steal is $183.92.The woman was stopped by the store's loss prevention officials.
