Eighteen area residents among 111 arraigned on criminal counts

Eighteen area residents were among 111 who appeared before District Attorney James P. Goodman at the Schuylkill County courthouse Monday morning and entered pleas of not guilty to criminal charges brought against them and all requested trial by jury. They were:

Brad Elliot Scheeler, 33, of 82 Grier Avenue, Barnesville, was charged by Patrolman Christopher Zuber, Mahanoy City police, last July 2 with driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol and operating his vehicle while his license was suspendedJoshua Ronald Lienhard, 26, of 328 E. Bertsch St., Lansford, was charged by Trooper Timothy Keating with DUI on SR1008 in Mahanoy Township last July 3.Josita A. Hannen, 31, of 894 Center St., Sheppton, East Union Township, was charged by Patrolman Christopher Zuber, Mahanoy City police, with DUI last April 10 and violating restrictions on alcoholic beverages by having an open container in his car.David V. Dicarlo, 41, of 527 E. Broad St., Tamaqua, was charged by Patrolman Charles Blesse, Coaldale police, with DUI last Aug. 29 and failing to drive on roadway laned for traffic.Eric L. Hardy, 24, of 139 Mahanoy St., Tamaqua, was charged by Patrolman Brian Thompson;, Rush Township police, with possession of a small amount of marijuana and posssession drug paraphernalia last Aug. 21 when stopped on Tuscarora Park Road.Danny T. Day, 46, of 514 Arlington St., Tamaqua, was charged by Patrolman Matthew Bynon, Tamaqua police, with fleeing police, DUI, driving while operating privileges were suspended and failing to drive on roadway laned for traffic.Nicole A. Machay, 33, of 400 W. Broad St., Tamaqua, was charged by Patrolman Anthony Stanell, Tamaqua police, with possession of a controlled substance on May 6, 2008, when stopped in area of game lands in West Penn Township.Alfred Sebastian, 29, of 174 Bernhard Road, Tamaqua R.D., was charged by Chief John Petrilla, Kline Township police, with DUI, reckless driving, failing to drive on roadway laned for traffic and failing to give police immediate notice of an accident which occured on Mile Hill Road last Aug. 6.Edward C. Smith, 52, of 325 Willling St., Tamaqua, was charged by Patrolman Robert Minnick, Rush Township police, with DUI, failing to drive on right side of roadway and failing to stay on right side of divided highway when stopped last July 7 on Claremont Avenue.Michael Lee Reed, 30, of 169 W. Moser Avenue, Coaldale, was charged by Patrolman Charles Blesse, Coaldale police, with four counts of forging bank checks stolen from his mother's purse, two counts each of theft by unlawful taking or disposing moveable property and receiving stolen property during the period of Aug. 19-23.Robert Anthony Marrero, 29, of 1 E. Phillips St., Coaldale, was charged by Patrolman George Carado, Shenandoah police, with theft of a Walmart gift card, theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property on June 1, 2008.Judi Yvonne Olsen, 41, of 99 Pine St., Sheppton, East Union Township, was charged by Captain Jamie Gennarini, Shenandoah police, last June 24 with corruption of minors and indecent assault without consent.Brian Lee Filer Sr., 42, of 18 Mauch Chunk St., Tamaqua, was charged by Patrolman Anthony Stanell, Tamaqua police, with criminal conspiracy, delivery of a controlled substance (CS), possession with intent to deliver and possession last Oct. 30 from his home.John Sienkiewicz, 38, of 215 Bowe St., Tamaqua, was charged by Patrolman Jeremy Talanca, West Penn Township police, on Sept. 4, 2007, with threatening and attempting to irmproperly influence in official matters when stopped at the intersection of state routes 309 and 443.Larry L. Wagner Jr., 30, of 300 1/2 Arlington St., Tamaqua, was charged by Patrolman George Parnell, Mahanoy City police, last Sept. 8 with possession of a CS and possession of drug paraphernalia.Stephanie Lynn Keck, 30, of 239 E. Catawissa St., Nesquehoning, was charged by Cpl. Henry Woods, Tamaqua police, on Nov. 3, 2008, with four counts of forging the name of Shane Bartenope on a check for $1,218.70. Keck was also charged by Chief Timothy Delaney, Coaldale police, on Oct. 31, 2008, with theft of two payroll checks, one from Crakow Packaging Company and a second from a mailbox on Ruddle Street.Kenneth Michael Neifert, 23, of 32 Valley St., New Philadelphia, was charged by Patrolman Frank DiMarco, New Philadelphia police, on Sept. 25, 2008, with fleeing from police, stop sign violation, reckless driving, failing to drive at safe speed, failking to have a driver's license, operating an all terrrain vehicle (ATV) on streets or highway, failing to operate in safe manner and not having proper head lamps or tail lamps.Gary William Taylor, 30, of 36 Walnut St., Delano, was charged by Patrolman John Dzurek, Orwigsburg police, last Sept. 20 with DUI, driving while license suspended, failing to drive on roadway laned for traffic and careless driving.Eric Phillip Schaeffer, 36, of 1014 Summer Valley Road, New Ringgold, was charged by Trooper Thomas Hornung last Sept. 5 with two counts of stalking and one count of harassment.Laureen Renee Pfaff, 19, Philadelphia, was charged by Patrolman George Parnell, Butler Township police, last Aug. 8 with possession of drug paraphenalia.Amy Lynn Boppe, 31, Ashland, was charged by Patrolman Michael O'Neill, Ashland police, last Aug. 9 wtih DUI and failing to drive at a safe speed.Faith Ann Herring, 37, Mount Carmel, was charged by Trooper Michael Van Buskirk on Aug. 22 with DUI and failing to drive on roadway laned for traffic when stopped in Girardville.Jessica Lynn Wenrich, 19, Dutchtown Road, Butler Township, was charged by Chief Edward Tarantelli, Butler Township police, last Sept. 4 with forging a check of Gene and Barbara Wenrich in amount of $2,250 and theft.Nicole Shoop, Ashland, was charged by Chief Adam Bernodin Jr., Ashland police, last Sept. 3 with disorderly conduct.Chester Guy Shaffer III, 30, Gordon, was charged by Officer Michelle Ashman, Frackville police, last Aug. 11 with DUI and careless driving.Michael Francis Jevelle, 23, Ringtown, was charged by Chief Shawn Tray, West Mahanoy Township police, on May 24, 2008, with possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, failing to carry insurance on his vehicle, driving an unregistered vehicle and driving while his license was suspended.Ann Marie Michalik, 51, Shenandoah, was charged by Det. Martin Heckman, district attorney's office, with two counts of theft for being reimbursed on two Medicare checks by county treasurer when not entitled. (To encourage retired employees to participate in the Medicare plan a portion of the savings realized by the county would be paid to the retiree)Rody E. Nunez, 32, Shenandoah, was charged by Patrolman George Carado, Shenandoah police, last Aug. 21 with terroristic threats, simple assault, recklessly endangering and harassment of his wife.Joseph H. Krawcyzk Jr., 45, Mahanoy City, was charged by Patrolman Charles Kovalewski, Mahanoy City police, with aggravated assault, corruption of minors, criminal solicitation to commit false reports, making false report to incriminate another person, threatening and improperly attempting to influence in official matters and simple assault.Brandon David Williams, 23, Gilberton, was charged by Chief Shawn Tray, West Mahanoy Township police, last July 30 with possession of drug parapahernalia in Lost Creek.Randy L. Lawson, 30, Shenandoah, was charged by Schuylkill County Drug Task Force with delivery of a CS, possession with intent to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia when cited last Feb. 16 in Shenandoah.Ramon Vallejo Escobedo, 28, Shenandoah. was charged bvy Patrolman Jason Hays, with DUI, reckless driving, failing to have a driver's license, failing to use safety belt, no car insurance and driving an unregistered vehicle last May 29.Alex Joseph Fogarty, 20, Lost Creek, West Mahanoy Township, charged by Chief Shawn Tray, West Mahanoy Township police, last July 30 with possession of drug paraphernalia in his home.Scott C. Kahley, 25, Frackville, was charged by Patrolman Christopher Zubris, Mahanoy City police, last June 22 with DUI, driving while his license was suspended and restrictions on alcoholic beverages in vehicle by having an open container.Adam Joseph Powell, 24, Ashland, was charged by Patrolman Raymond Tonkinson, West Mahanoy Township police, last April 14 and 15 with four counts each of access device fraud by unauthorized use, theft by unalwful taking, three counts of criminal attempt to commit access device fraud and one count of receiving stolen property. The information filed to court alleges Powell stole bank card from car of Joseph Najda and used it to obtain merchandise valued at $37.60 from Fegley's Mini Mart, Tamaqua; $587.07 in merchandise from Giant Food Store, Lehighton; $503.64 in merchandise from Walmart Store, Hometown; and $50.50 gasoline from Hess Express Service Station, Frackville.Michelle L. Brennan, 40, Mahanoy City, was charged by Patrolman Michael Dissinger, Mahanoy City police, last Aug. 19 with possession with intent to deliver a CS, possession and possession of drug paraphernalia.Derek Robert Fulton, 24, West Hazleton, was charged by Trooper Joseph Aponick with DUI when stopped last July 3 on SR1008 in Mahanoy Township.Stephen M. Gaughan, 23, Shenandoah, was charged by Schuuylkill County Drug Task Force with delivery of a CS, possession and possession of drug paraphernalia last March 13 at his home.Brian Harlor, 31, Mahanoy City, was charged by Patrolman Michael Dissinger, Mahanoy City police, last July 14 with DUI and being involved in an accident striking an unattended car parked in the 400 block on East Mahanoy Street and owned by Leonard and Virginia Laurusevage.Heath A. Houseknecht, 21, West Hazleton, was charged by Cpl. Duane Frederick, Rush Township police, last July 18 with possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia when stopped in Quakake.Amanda Spillane, 24, Warminster, was charged by Patrolman Brian Thompson, Rush Township police, last July 7 with criminal conspiracy, retail theft of 69 items valued at $675.88 from Walmart Store, Hometown, and receiving stolen property.Rashan Hunt, 20, West Hazleton, charged by Officer Scott Kramer, Kline Township police, last March 28 with theft of handgun and theft of three personal checks owned by Joseph Boranko, South Green Street; receiving stolen property, forgery, receiving stolen property and access device fraud.Natanael Soto, 24, Shenandoah, was charged by Lt. William Moyer, Shenandoah police, last June 12 with theft of services from Redner's Market, Shenandoah, by renting a carpet cleaner and failing to return it.Stephen M. Gaughan, 23, Shenandoah, was charged by Capt. Jamie Gennarini, Shenandoah police, last July 30 with possession of drug paraphernalia in his home.Keith Daniel Benjamin, 25, Shenandoah, was charged by Patrolman Raymond Tonkinson, West Mahanoy Township police, last Feb. 4 with fleeing police, recklessly endangering another person, driving while license suspended, no car insurance, operating on streets and highway an atv and failing to operate in safe manner.Cindy Louise Arias, 38, Shenandoah, was charged by Patrolman Joseph Hall, Shenandoah police, last July 3 with issuing a check on an account with insufficient funds in amount of $2,798.50.Flora Elizabeth Ptaszkowski, 27, Shenandoah, was charged by Capt. Jamie Gennarini, Shenandoah police, last July 28 with burglary of an apartment on North Jardin Street, criminal trespass by breaking into the building, theft of $60 in cash and receiving stolen property.Frank C. Rakus, Ringtown, was charged by Trooper Michael Marinchak with aggravated assault by vehicle, DUI, failing to drive on roadway laned for traffic, careless driving and failure to wear seat belt last April 27 when involved in two car crash on Schoollane Road, Sheppton, East Union Township.Ralph M. Rumbel Jr., 48, no address, was charged by Patrolman Joseph Hall, Shenandoah police, last July 25 with DUI.Michael J. Mayersky, 24, Shenandoah, was charged by Patrolman Carado, Shenandoah police, with 36 counts of access device fraud used to withdraw $2,780 from a bank account.Gerald George Barry Jr., 37, Ashland, was charged by Trooper Paul Hardnock with DUI, driving an unregistered car and careless driving when stopped last July 20 in Girardville.Michelle Ann Linnen, 30, Lemoyne, was charged by Patrolman Raymond Horan, Butler Township, last June 13 with DUI and exceeding the maximum speed limit by traveling 61 miles per hour in a 45 zone.Barry Joseph Hubler, 22, Ashland, was charged by Patrolman Shawn Butler, Butler Township police, last Sept. 18 with simple assault, recklessly endangering and harassment of Augustine Sevitsky.Jeffrey Robert Krummert, 20, Philadelphia, was charged by Patrolman George Parnell, Butler Township police, last Aug. 8 with possession of a small amount of marjuana and possession of drug paraphernalia when stopped along SR61.Richard J. Ludwig, 36, Ringtown, was charged by Officer Phillip Beaver, Union Township police, last Aug. 31 with recklessly endangering another person, involved in accident with unattended car, disorderly conduct, harassment, reckless driving and two counts of careless driving on Ringtown Boulevard.Thomas William Edwards, 39, Frackville, was charged by Patrolman George Parnell, Frackville police, with DUI and stop sign violation last Aug. 15.Korey Robert Wronski, 19, Mahanoy City, was charged by Chief Christopher Hand, Frackville police, last Sept. 21 with criminal conspiracy and receiving stolen credit card.Kathryn Gayle Mealey, 47, Pine Grove, was charged by Cpl. Jeffrey Futchko, Pine Grove police, last Aug. 16 with DUI and three counts of failing to drive on right side of road.Brenda May Gates, 44, Minersville, was charged by Det. Thomas Trotter IV, Pine Grove police, with three counts of passing three bad checks to J.B. Used Furniture Store in amount of $728.84..Jessica Mae Brobst, 39, Pine Grove, was charged by Trooper Mark Baron last Aug. 29 with DUI and failing to drive on roadway laned for traffic when stopped in Washington Township.Shawn R. Carl, 21, Tower City, was charged by Patrolman John Boyer, Tower City police, last May 7 with corruption of minors and sellling or furnishing alcohol beverages to minors.Rameen Maleki, Herndon, Va., was charged by Trooper Michael Becker last July 2 with DUI, possession of a small amount of marijuana, failing to drive at safe speed and careless driving when stopped on Interstate 81 in Frailey Township.Willliam Lee Sourwine, 45, Lebanon, was charged by Trooper Robert Kluge Jr. last June 25 with harassing Keith Edward Hoover with text messages. He was also charged by Trooper Robert Kluge Jr. with making terroristic threats and harassing Keith Edward Hoover, Tremont, and disorderly conduct last Aug. 13.Daniel Aloysisus O'Connell, 38, Sacramento, was charged by Schuylkill County Drug Task Force with manufacture of a CS, possession with intent to deliver, possession, and possession of drug paraphernalia last July 5 on his property.Jared D. Moyer, 34, Tremont, was charged by Cpl. Jeffrey Futchko, PIne Grove police, last Aug. 15 with DUI and failing to drive on right side of road.Bradley Scott Coleman, 19, Hegins, was charged by Patrolman Troy Maurer, Hegins Township police, last Aug. 8 with possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and underage drinking.Cody Noel Challenger, 19, Williamstown, was charged by Schuylkill County Drug Task Force with delivery of a CS and possession of drug paraphernalia in the 800 block on East Grand Avenue, Tower City. Challlenger was also charged by Trooper Scott Coanshock last Aug. 29 with DUI and not having general lighting requirements on his vehicle when stopped in Tower City.Erik Thomas Ossman, 20, Tremont, was charged by Schuylkill County Drug Task Force last June 21 with delivery of a CS and possession of drug paraphernalia when cited on Tremont Street, Tremont.Lynn Ann Carter, 48, Shenandoah, was charged by Chief Matthew Nestor, Shenandoah police, last July 10 with DUI.Crystal L. Cheslaw, 28, Hanover Township, was charged by Patrolman Scott Cramer, Rush Township police, last July 3 with DUI, failing to drive at a safe speed, failing to have a signed registration card and failing to carry car insurance.Santos Figueroal, Pottsville, was charged by Trooper Thomas Hornung last Aug. 19 with DUI, failing to have a driver's license, failing to drive on roadway laned for traffic and careless driving when stopoped on Tumbling Run Road in North Manheim Township.William Joseph Dixon, 38, Pottsville, was charged by Trooper Michael V. Rahn Richards last Sept. 3 with burglary of Red and White Market and theft of 33 cartons of cigarettes valued at $1,599.60 and 25 adult magazines valued at $25.23.Julio A. Pena-Silva, 42, Reading, was charged by Chief Anthony M. Curry, 27, Frackville, was charged by Patrolman Brian Kotzmoyer, Pottsville police, last Aug. 30 with recklessly endangering another person by allowing a friend to ride on the roof of his car in the parking lot of a service station, disorderly conduct, reckless driving and careless driving.Michael Sean Wimer, 34, Allentown, was charged by Trooper William Luckenbill last May 28 with theft of leased property by renting a television from Rent-A-Center, Park Plaza, Norwegian Township, and pawning the TV valued at $993.35 for $400.Amire Angel Garcia, 20, Philadelphia, was charged by Trooper Alyssa Becker last Aug. 30 with making a false report incriminating another person and giving a sworn false statement that his vehicle was stolen when he had been involved in an accident on Interstate 81.Tina Marie McCormick, 38, Locust Gap, was charged by Trooper John Powis last April 25 with corruption of minors, retail theft and criminal conspiracy..Thomas Martin Kelly, Pottsville, was charged by Trooper Michael Ryan last Sept. 23 with simple assault and harassment of Morgan Nicole Natal and disorderly conduct.Tammy Lynn Williams, 32, Mt. Carmel, was charged by Trooper John Powis last April 25 with retail theft from Boscov's Store, Pottsivlle, of $251.35 in clothing; criminal conspiracy, corruption of minors and defiant trespass.Michelle Marie Mills-Yom, 43, Pine Grove, was charged by Trooper Matthew Barrett last Aug. 21 with defiant trespass on Schuylkill Valley Sewer Authority property in New Philadelphia and harassment of Richard Carl Stepp.Debra Lynn Greenberg, 40, Pottsville, was charged by Schuylkill County Drug Task Force with delivery of a CS, possession with intent to deliver, possession and possession of drug paraphernalia at her home last June 21.Christian David Kuzowsky, 37, Schuylkill Haven, was charged by the Schuylkill County Drug Task Force with delivery, possession with intent and possession of a CS at his home last April 17.Tiffany Ann Dehoutaint, 19, Coal Township, was charged by Trooper Joseph Aponick last Sept. 5 with retail theft from Sears Store, Schuylkill Mall, of a pair of sandals valued at $29.99 and defiant trespass.Samantha M. Walasavage with rape, six counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with person under 13 years of age, three counts each of statutory sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault and one count of corruption of a minors.Lisa Marie Seltzer, 51, Orwigsburg, was charged by Cpl Michael Sadusky last Sept. 3 with possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at her home.Rudolpho Valdez, 28, Pottsville, charged by Capt. Richard Wojciechowsky, Pottsville police, last Oct. 8 with four counts of person not to possess firearm, and one count each of altering or oblitering marks of identification on firearms and possession of firearms without altered manufacturer's numbers. Valdez was also charged by Cpl. Dennis Wiederhold, Pottsville police, last Oct. 8 with possession of a CS, possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and defiant trespass in 400 block of Laurel Boulevard.Steven Rowe, 43, Pottsville, was charged by Patrolman Paul Olson, Pottsville police, last Oct. 9 with forgery of a check, criminal attempt to commit theft by deception, identity theft and passing a bad check for $500.Robert Willliam McNulty, 61, Saint Clair, was charged by Patrolman Renee Galle, Pottsville, last Sept. 8 with DUI and careless driving.Justin Joseph Jalbert, 30, Pottsville, was charged by Patrolman Renee Galle, Pottsville police, with possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.James Vincent O'Brien, 44, Pottsville, was charged by Patrolman Joseph Welsh, Pottsville police, last Sept. 5 with DUI, careless driving and public drunkenness.Michael John Bailey, 24, Hamburg, was charged by Cpl.
