St. Luke's Sports & Rehabilitation announced its annual food drive will begin Monday, Nov. 30 and continue until Monday, Dec. 14.

The food drive will benefit families in Carbon and Schuylkill counties through the Tamaqua Salvation Army and Lansford Food Pantry and benefit families in Monroe County through St. Peter the Fisherman Food Pantry.Items will be accepted at the following locations to benefit families in Carbon and Schuylkill Counties:St. Luke's Miners Memorial Hospital LobbySt. Luke's Miners Geriatric Center - 5th floor of hospital;All St. Luke's Sports & Rehabilitation locations:Coaldale - St. Luke's Miners Memorial Hospital;Jim Thorpe - 693 Route 903;Mahanoy City - 926 West Center Street;Lehighton - 397 Hemlock Drive; Nesquehoning - 44 West Catawissa Street;Weatherly - 31 Wilbur Street;West Penn - 2083 West Penn Pike, Suite 7Items will be accepted at the following location to benefit families in Monroe County:St. Luke's Sports & Rehabilitation - Blakeslee, located at Route 940 and Maple Road, (approximately mile east of Route 115, inside Blakeslee Medical Professional Complex).Suggested items to donate include canned fruits and vegetables; canned meats and tuna; canned soups and stews; pasta and rice; peanut butter and jelly; and salt and sugar.
