Lions Club newsThe monthly meeting of the Summit Hill Lions Club will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 24, at 6:30 p.m. at the Parkview Inn. Dr. Kenneth Vermillion, president, will chair the session.The guest speaker will be Linda Benner, Lions regional chairperson.The club's social committee has finalized plans for this year's Christmas party. The date is Sunday, Dec. 13. The day will start with club members and guests attending the Bach and Handel Concert to be held at the Angela Theater, Coaldale, at 3 p.m., followed by the Christmas party at The Lantern, Nesquehoning, beginning at 5 o'clock.
