New time schedule

This Sunday, Cornerstone Community Baptist Church invites you to join them and discover what God really wants to do in your life. Get connected with friendly people, encouraging ministries and relevant biblical teaching. They have a new time schedule. Sunday School for all ages will be at 9:30 a.m. Worship service begins at 10:45 a.m., with nursery and toddler care provided for both. Following each worship service, stay for coffee, with a time to connect with each other. The church is located next to the Pleasant Valley Elementary School in Kresgeville.Car seat inspectionThe Pleasant Valley Transportation Department will sponsor a free car seat inspection program on Oct. 23 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Polk Elementary School on Route 209 in Kresgeville for additional information call (570) 402-1000, Ext. 1291.Waggin Tails RescueSunday, Oct. 18, Waggin Tails will be hosting an adoption day at the American Legion on Rt. 209 in Gilbert. You can also fill out an adoption form online.Trick or Treat nightPolk Township's Trick or Treat Night will be Saturday, Oct. 31 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. If you would like the trick or treaters to visit your home, leave the front porch light on so they will know to knock on your door.
