The Palmerton Area Democratic Club will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Fireline Hotel, Bowmanstown with two featured speakers: political science professor, Dr. Roy Christman, responding to the recent election; Max Cohen of the Center for Popular Democracy who will discuss the need for immigration reform.
Every month the PADC continues to support the Food Bank run by the Community Action Council of Palmerton Area Churches.The area covered by the club includes Palmerton, Bowmanstown, Towamensing Township and Lower Towamensing Township. Meetings are monthly, the second Tuesday of the month, September to May, 7 p.m. at the Fireline Hotel, Bowmanstown.
