A Carbon County man is facing a charge of retail theft in Lehigh County.

State police at Fogelsville said Michael Paul Rehrig, 30, of Palmerton, was arrested about 4:57 p.m. on Oct. 18 at the Walmart store at 1091 Millcreek Road, in Lower Macungie Township.Troopers allege that Rehrig attempted to leave the store with $579.51 worth of merchandise without paying for it.
