Marian's Future Business Leadersattend state leadership conference

Members of Marian Catholic High School's chapter of the Future Business Leaders of America attended the 2013 Pennsylvania FBLA State Leadership Conference, held April 15-17 at the Hershey Lodge and Convention Center. Conference highlights included a check presentation to the American Trauma Society; individual, chapter and team competitive events related to business skills; election of state officers; leadership development workshops; and recognition of members' community service efforts throughout the commonwealth. Absent from the photo are FBLA members Samantha Faust, Michael Dino and Emily Pilla. Befano was awarded eighth place in the Public Speaking I event and the local chapter received a plaque recognizing its seventh place with 25.78 percent of the school's students (83) participating in the FBLA The group was accompanied by adviser Mrs. Patricia Patton, Marian business education teacher.
