Four persons reported to state police at the Fogelsville barracks on Feb. 1 that they were victims of a simple assault that took place on Interstate 78 westbound, South Whitehall Township.

The victims include a 19-year-old and a 45-year-old, both from Boyertown, and a 40-year-old and a 45-year-old, both from New Tripoli. All of the victims are males.Police said they were occupants of a vehicle involved in a crash and were involved in an altercation after the accident. They told police they were pushed into the westbound lane of travel of I-78.
