Couple argues over lottery ticket

A Kempton woman was injured in an altercation she had with a man from Kempton around 9:19-9:24 p.m. in Lynn Township.

State police at the Fogelsville barracks said the victim is a 45-year-old woman who sustained a knee injury and a middle finger injury as a result of the incident, which happened at 8996 Kings Highway in the township.As a result of the incident, police have charged Richard C. Conrad, 51.Police said the woman and Conrad engaged in the altercation regarding a scratch-off lottery ticket, during which time Conrad allegedly wrapped his right leg around the victim's legs, kicking them in a sweeping motion and knocking her to the ground. In addition to the knee injury caused by that action, the woman suffered the finger injury when Conrad pulled the woman's vehicle keys from her hand, proceeding to flee the scene in the victim's vehicle.Police said the argument happened because the woman refused to give Conrad the ticket and keys.
