The Jim Thorpe Varsity Cheerleaders attended a National Cheerleaders Association Camp at Elizabethtown College. They won the Champion Chant Award, Game Day Top Team Trophy, and the Spirit Megaphone. Three members were selected to the All-American team. They are Gavrielle Mele, Tonya Ritter and Brianna Waselus. Mele was named the Top All-American Cheerleader at the camp. Varsity cheerleaders include, kneeling, Alyssa Gregoire, Jane Pavlova, Tonya Ritter and Gavrielle Mele. Standing: Brianna Waselus, Ava Lowin, Lesley DeStefano, Rachael Caputo, Emily Kattner, Dakota Cwiertniewicz, Kyleem Johnson and Tony Shorten. Cayce Pope is also a member of the squad.
