Three-ring circus

Dear Editor,

Have you been watching the three-ring circus? No, not Ringling Bros., Barnum & Bailey Circus. But the Democratic and Republican presidential debates going ultra-strong on TV for some time. Now it's becoming violent as the crowds are beginning to physically punch one another. It's literally turning into a free-for-all as violence is erupting during the debates. If our forefathers could witness this mudslinging, and downright despicable actions, they'd be truly offended and disgusted with our horrific modern-day tactics.Republican candidate Donald Trump has a sea of money; an aggressive businessman who could, no doubt, buy the Taj Mahal without looking at the price tag. Trump is arrogant. He thinks nothing of belittling anyone who stands in his way on his fight for the Oval Office. He has no finesse whatsoever. One has their doubts if he would make an ideal commander in chief. You've got to give him some credibility for being truthful.Democratic candidate, grandmother Hillary Clinton, has already been first lady while husband Bill kept the Oval Office seat warm for eight years. God himself knows the Clintons have enough wealth. It isn't a matter of Hillary needing the presidential salary. It's the magnificent achievement of having the power of becoming the first female president of America. How she would go down in the history books as a triumphal achievement no other female ever gained such recognition.Shouldn't Hillary be home rocking her grandchild to sleep, instead of gallivanting around the country hoping to gain sufficient votes for her White House win? This writer is NOT in favor of a female president to run our beloved country. It's a man's job; the stressful ordeal of the country's problems are staggering, to say the least, and a brilliant mind with knowledge of foreign affairs is definitely required. Would Hillary's health uphold for four strenuous years of political bickering? It's the most harrowing experience of a lifetime, and it takes one as solid as the Rock of Gibraltar to cope with America's onward problems. Whoever wins for the White House race, may God give him (or her) enduring strength. God bless America!Earle E. StahlerWest Penn Township
