State police at the Lehighton have filed driving under the influence (DUI) charges against Ashley Watkins, 25, of Nesquehoning.

Police said they observed her driving a 2007 Saturn in an erratic manner on SR248 westbound in Palmerton and upon making a stop learned the woman was driving while under the influence of marijuana.The incident happened at 11:40 p.m. Nov. 25.
