Karen Sabol, Eugene Binder exchange vows

Karen A. Sabol, daughter of Gerard and Dolores Scaran of Lansford, and Eugene L. Binder, son of the late Eugene and Kathleen Binder of Jim Thorpe, were united in marriage on May 17 in Montego Bay, Jamaica.

The double-ring ceremony was performed at oceanside by the Rev. Kenroy Salter, a Christian minister.Given in marriage by her son, Matthew Sabol of Nesquehoning, the bride chose her sister, Kim Kwaak of Coaldale, as her matron of honor, and Suzan Graf of Macungie, as the maid of honor.Emily Kwaak of Coaldale, the bride's niece, was the junior bridesmaid.The bridegroom was given in marriage by his daughter, Amanda Miller of Nesquehoning.His best man was Kyle Sheckler of Jim Thorpe, while Larry Graf of Macungie was the groomsman.Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the resort, which was attended by 48 family members and friends who made the trip for the destination wedding.The new Mrs. Binder is employed by the County of Carbon, where she is an accounts clerk-II in the office of the county controller in Jim Thorpe.Mr. Binder is the owner and operator of the Binder Insurance Agency, Nesquehoning.The couple is residing Nesquehoning.
