Warrants and drug charges

A Summit Hill man was arrested after police conducted a traffic stop and learned there were warrants out for his arrest.

According to Summit Hill police, on June 30, at 10:05 p.m., police were conducting a traffic patrol when they stopped a vehicle for a lighting violation.An investigation revealed that the driver, Ian Thrasher, 35 of 42 E. Ludlow St., Apt. 3, had warrants out on him in Michigan and Florida. He was taken into custody. It was later discovered that Thrasher also had drug paraphernalia and some controlled substance in his possession.He was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance.
