Katie Moran weds Stephen Boccella

Katie Moran, daughter of Christine Moran of Lake Hauto and the late Robert Moran, became the bride of Stephen Boccella, son of Sal and Kathleen Boccella of Horsham, on Nov. 12, 2011, at SS. Simon and Jude Church in Bethlehem. Monsignor John Mraz of Emmaus, pastor of St. Ann's Church, Emmaus, officiated the double ring ceremony.

Given in marriage by her mother, the bride chose her sister, Megan Moran of Hatboro, formerly of Lake Hauto, to be her maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Sarah Boccella, Macungie, daughter of the bridegroom; Jennilee Kosciolek, Summit Hill; Maureen Corcoran, Morgantown; and Katie Thomas, Conshohocken, sister of the bridegroom.Matthew Boccella, Macungie, son of the bridegroom, served as the best man. Groomsman were the bridegroom's brothers, Sal Boccella III of Lansdale, Michael Boccella of Wayne, and Kevin Boccella of North Wales; and his brother-in-law Andy Thomas of Conshohocken.Following the ceremony, the couple welcomed family and friends to a reception at the Hotel Bethlehem, Bethlehem. They then honeymooned in Mexico.Prenuptial parties included a bridal shower at the bride's home in Macungie, hosted by her mother and the bridal party.The new Mrs. Boccella received a master of science degree in exercise science and health promotion from California University of Pennsylvania. She is employed as a senior wellness coach at Wellness Coaches USA.Mr. Boccella received a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from Villanova University.The newlyweds reside in Macungie.
