A motorcyclist was seriously injured Saturday evening when he lost control of his bike on the entrance ramp of SR248 at the Palmerton cloverleaf. The crash occurred just before 7 p.m. as the biker was leaving Palmerton and attempting to enter the east bound lanes of SR248. He apparently lost control, laying the bike down and sliding off the roadway into the berm. Medics transported the victim to the Lehighton Valley Hospital Trauma Center in Allentown. Palmerton police are investigating the incident.
