Arrest warrant

A Summit Hill man, who was wanted by police, was arrested in Lansford.

According to Summit Hill police, on June 9, at 9:12 p.m., an off duty Summit Hill police officer was traveling through Lansford when he saw Marco Baker, 26, of 327 E. Hazard St., walking through the borough. There was an active arrest warrant out on Baker.The officer notified Summit Hill and Lansford police, which approached Baker. Baker then attempted to flee, but was taken into custody after a foot chase.While in custody, officers discovered drugs in Baker's possession.He was arraigned and placed in the Carbon County Correctional Facility.
