Two men are facing theft and related counts for an incident in Lehighton in which credit cards were stolen.

Borough police said Steven Fisher, 22, of 430 White St., Weissport, and Scott Brickler, 34, of 113 Bonnie Drive, Dalton, Lackawanna County, were arrested for an incident that occurred on July 9.Fisher has been charged with theft from a motor vehicle, receiving stolen property, access device fraud, and criminal conspiracy to commit access device fraud. Brickler was charged with forgery and access device fraud.According to police Fisher allegedly stole two Visa rebate gift cards and a Shell gas card from a vehicle which was parked in the 100 block of N. Sixth St.Video surveillance revealed that Fisher used the Visa card at Dunkin Donuts about 30 minutes later. About 40 minutes later Brickler used the Shell card at the Square One gas station with Fisher at his side. Both men went inside the store and stood together as the stolen Visa gift card was presented to the cashier to purchase $17.28 worth of food and cigarettes. Brickler signed the sales receipt for the fraudulent purchase, police said.
