Members of the General George S. Patton Jr. Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 5069 in Andreas are forming a Last Man's Club for fellow Iraq and Afghanistan War Veterans.

The new club will consist of a group of mutually supportive veterans of either the Iraq or Afghanistan wars. Their mission is to support fellow veterans, remember the sacrifices of fellow heroes and to simply have fun.Member Ted Bogosh III stated, "After we get enough members, we plan on holding many fun events to support our new club, the Andreas VFW Post and local community."Any interested veterans can call (570) 668-1234 or bring your DD-214 to their first Last Man's Club meeting on Tuesday, September 13 at 7:30 p.m. at the West Penn Community Park.
