The Pennsylvania Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement, District 2 Office, Wilkes-Barre, has cited a Jim Thorpe man and his business for violating state liquor laws.

Charged are Bart Springer, Albright Mansion Restaurant, 66 Broadway, for an offense dated Sept. 6.Officials said the business sold alcoholic beverages after its restaurant liquor license had expired on Aug. 31 and had not been renewed and/or validated.The charge will be brought before an administrative law judge who has the authority to impose penalties ranging from $50-1,0000 for minor offenses and up to $5,000 for more serious offenses.In addition, the judge can also impose a license suspension or revocation based on the severity of the charge brought against the business.
