Jade Leitzel, daughter of Catherine and Nicholas Katynski, and a senior at Lehighton Area High School, was named the winner of the Lehighton Woman's Club art scholarship award. Leitzel enjoys art and she is shown with several abstract paintings on wood that she recently created. Her art teacher at Lehighton Area High School is Mike Reenock. Leitzel plans to attend Duquesne University in Pittsburgh to major in English.
