A rear-end type crash involved two school buses of the Pocono Mountain School District. Pocono Mountain Regional police said the crash occurred about 4:13 p.m. on Tuesday, March 1, at the intersection of Salamanca and Hemlock drives in the Pocono Farms development.

Police said Gary Curtis, 41, of Tobyhanna, was driving one bus and said he was turning off Hemlock Drive onto Salamanca and was looking back at some students who were standing up. When he turned back to the road he saw another bus stopped. He was unable to stop and hit the rear of the second bus, which was driven by Girard Kelly, 51, also of Tobyhanna.Kelly said he was stopped for his regular dropoff at that location. No one was reported injured in the mishap.
