Lehighton students earn Good Citizenship Awards

Senator David Argall Good Citizenship Awards for the 2010-11 school year have been presented to students in the Lehighton Area School District.

The criteria for the award are for those fourth grade students "who have demonstrated qualities of good citizenship through display of character, leadership, scholarship and acceptance of responsibility." The recipients of this award are selected by their teachers.East Penn Elementary School students who were recognized with the award are Shawn Cope, Emily Kleintop, and Logan Pagotto.At Franklin Elementary School, Isabella Baka, Evan Beers, and Ryan Nametko were recognized for good citizenship.Mahoning Elementary School students who were recognized are Samantha Banning, Charles Daniels, Elizabeth Eckhart, and Chris Whiteman.Shull-David Elementary School students Addison Howland, Jack Kogut, Haley Nahf, and Katrina Remaley were recognized with the award.David Argall is Pennsylvania State Senator for the 29th District - serving Schuylkill County and portions of Berks, Carbon, Lehigh, Monroe, and Northampton Counties.
