Mr. and Mrs. Brian Smith Sr. of Franklin Township recently celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary.

They were married on June 21, 1986 at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church by the Rev. David Williams.Mrs. Smith is the former Cheryl Wentz, daughter of the late Paul and Edna Wentz. Mr. Smith is the son of the late Roy and Jane Smith.Mr. Smith is employed by the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission. His wife is employed by PNC Bank.The Smiths are the parents of one son, Brian Smith Jr., who graduated from Penn State University in 2010 with a degree in finance.The couple is active in their church, Bethany Wesleyan in Cherryville. They have also been very active with Franklin Township Volunteer Fire Company No. for many years.
