Good news was received by Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Albeck of East Mauch Chunk this morning when the mailman delivered a clippergram from their son, Staff Sgt. Joseph Albeck, stationed at Wheeler Field, Hawaii. The highlight of the letter is that he is well - and in his own words:

"Just believe me that everything in the Pacific is under control and that everything and everyone is prepared for anything from air raid to internal sabotage. If the Japanese should return, and we don't think they dare, no doubt they will be annihilated before any accountable damage can be done."
