Students who play in a school band are asked to bring their instruments.

The program is under the direction of Bradly R. Cressley, Director of Music at Zion UCC and the assistant director is Laura Cressley who helped to create and co-direct the music academy last year as her senior project for Lehighton Area High School.

This program is an outreach of Zion United Church of Christ and is completely free to the public.

It was designed to expose children and teens to the joy of making music. Light refreshments will be served each night.

The talents of the students will be showcased at a special concert on the last night of the academy at 7 p.m. and the public is invited to attend.
