Spectators watch steam engine, built in 1928, pass through Clamtown along Route 443 yesterday afternoon. The steamer was en route from Port Clinton to Jim Thorpe. In Jim Thorpe, there will be steam rides offered throughout Labor Day weekend from the train station in Jim Thorpe to the Penn Haven Junction, a 16-mile round trip, by the Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway.
