JTAHS students attend Rotary Leadership Conference

The Jim Thorpe Rotary Club recognized the three students that were chosen to go to the RYLA Conference (Rotary Youth Leadership Award) which was held on the campus of Mt. St. Mary College in Newburgh, NY. RYLA is a program for high school sophomores who have shown leadership potential in their home, school, and community. The conference is designed to introduce participants to thoughts and ideas, which if utilized, will strengthen and develop their leadership skills. It also provided an environment where participants could discuss an exchange ideas with other students attending the five-day conference. All three students noted that the conference was a great experience that built self-confidence and leadership skills.
