2010 marked Silberline's 65th anniversary. Lisa Scheller, President & CEO of Silberline Manufacturing Co., Inc., remarked, "As we reflect on the past and look to the future, we count our many blessings. Silberline, as a company and as a family of employees, is proud of its tradition of community involvement. We look for opportunities to partner with groups and organizations that help our local areas." Ms. Scheller went on to say, "Generosity is inherent in Silberline's culture, and I am extremely proud of the ways in which we give back. Traditionally at this time of year, Silberline presents each employee with a $15 gift card to be used for their Thanksgiving meal preparations. This year, I presented the employees with a special giving opportunity: donate their gift card to the Salvation Army and I will personally match the total." Following through on that challenge, Ms. Scheller presented the Salvation Army with a personal matching check of $1,150.00 to accompany the $1,145 donated by the employees.
