Mr. and Mrs. Walter Schlenner of Jim Thorpe recently celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary. They were married on May 10, 1980 at St. John's Lutheran Church in-the-heights, Jim Thorpe, by the Rev. Charles W. Kampmeyer.

Mrs. Schlenner is the former Fay Kemmerle, daughter of Charlotte Kemmerle of Jim Thorpe and the late Marvin Kemmerle.Mr. Schlenner is the son of Theresa Schlenner of Jim Thorpe and the late Walter Schlenner.They have two children: Karen Schlenner of Plymouth Meeting, Pa., and Tiffany Schlenner of Plains.The couple celebrated their anniversary by taking a Caribbean vacation to the island of Curacao at the Breezes Spa and Resorts. They were joined by her sister and brother-in-law, Ronald and Jean (Kemmerle) Dunbar, who celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary earlier this year.
